Stay up to date on upcoming classes and happenings:
Ever wanted to spend a weekend working in a bike shop? Here’s your chance!
Our hands-on educational workshops are designed to give you real-world experience in a professional bike shop setting. Whether you're looking to learn the basics or build confidence tackling your own repairs, these classes offer practical skills you can use right away.
Workshops are typically offered from November through February, with each session running over two full days. Classes begin at 8:00 AM and wrap up around 4:00–5:00 PM each day, giving you plenty of time to learn, practice, and ask lots of questions.
We keep our classes flexible — if you don’t see a date that works for you, or if you’re looking for something more customized, feel free to reach out. As long as a class isn’t already booked, we’re often able to adjust the schedule or create a session that fits your needs.

I participated in the Home Bicycle Repair and Tune Up class at Elevation Cyclery. I had some experience with tools and tend to be a DIY type of individual, however had no experience at all working on bikes before the class. Jason walked through everything I needed to know from which tools to use and why, as well as a methodical approach to completely strip down all of the critical moving parts of my bike in order to clean, and repair or replace as necessary, before reassembling and walking out the door with a well tuned bike ready for it's next adventure. The class included a good deal of reference materials so I feel confident I could go through the process again. The shop is bright and easy to navigate and Jason offered a great learning experience. -Peter
A friend and I took Jason's 2 day bike tune up class and it was excellent. There was a good mix of classroom slides and hands on experience and Jason gave clear answers to all of our questions and provided helpful and friendly encouragement and demonstrations as needed. We left with clean and tuned up bikes, a much better knowledge of bike tools and how to correctly use them, and the information (including Park Tool's Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair and access to classroom slides) and confidence needed to tackle tune ups and other bike maintenance (and many repairs) on our own. -Jeff
