A Different Kind of Bike Shop!
Located in the basement of the Sleepy Hollow Round Barn
Tucked downstairs in the Sleepy Hollow Round Barn, Elevation Cyclery is a bike shop built around care, not sales quotas. We’re here to keep your bike running the way it should—smooth, quiet, and ready for whatever ride you have planned.
Our focus is split between two things we love: doing high-quality repair work, and helping riders learn how to take care of their own bikes. Whether you roll in for a tune-up or join us for a winter workshop, you’ll find a shop that’s friendly, practical, and happy to talk bikes.
SERVICE
We’re a full-service repair shop, equipped to handle everything from quick adjustments to full overhauls. We keep common parts on hand—chains, cables, brake pads, bearings, the usual suspects—so your bike isn’t stuck here waiting on shipments.

If it keeps your bike rolling, we probably do it—and if for some reason we don’t, we’ll point you to who can. No gatekeeping, no ego, just getting you back out riding.
BOOK ONLINE
We try to keep bike service simple. You can swing by during open hours (always check our website — they change with the seasons — Vermont life!), or book online to reserve a spot.
Our typical turnaround is about 3-4 working days (maybe less), but booking ahead usually means your bike is out of commission for less time. We’ll always let you know what to expect—no mystery timelines.
EDUCATION
Winter is for learning.
Elevation Cyclery is an Authorized Park Tool School, which means our classes follow professional standards and use the same tools and techniques trusted by shops around the world.
If you’ve ever wanted to tune your own bike, build a fresh wheelset, or just understand what’s actually going on inside those parts, our multi-day winter classes are for you. You’ll work on your own bike, with guidance, tools, and plenty of time to ask questions.
They’re relaxed, hands-on, and surprisingly fun.
GIFT CARDS & LOCAL FINDS
Need a gift for your favorite cyclist? We offer gift cards plus a rotating selection of bike and ski-themed goods—things we actually like, not filler merchandise. Our online shop always has the latest mix of practical, useful, and occasionally “where did you even find this?” items.
